O LEOPARDO E O VEADO

As manchas do leopardo são a luz solar na clareira;

Tu persegui o veado furtivamente no vosso prazer.

Assemelham-se a tudo o que surroundeth-te; no entanto, ser-te a mesmo —

COMENTÁRIO

19 é o trunfo do tarô, "O sol", que é o

representante de Deus no macrocosmo, como o falo é em o microcosmo.

Há uma certa universalidade e adaptabilidade entre seus

poder secreto. O capítulo é retirado de Rudyard

"Só então histórias."

O mestre exorta seus discípulos a certo Santo stealth, um

ocultação do real propósito de suas vidas; desta forma

fazendo o melhor dos dois mundos. Este aconselha um curso de

ação dificilmente distinguível de hipocrisia;

Chapter 19

THE LEOPARD AND THE DEER

The spots of the leopard are the sunlight in the glade;

pursue thou the deer stealthily at thy pleasure.

The dappling of the deer is the sunlight in the glade;

concealed from the leopard do thou feed at thy pleasure.

Resemble all that surroundeth thee; yet be Thyself—

and take thy pleasure among the living.

This is that which is written—Lurk!—in The Book of The Law.

COMMENTARY

19 is the Tarot Trump, “The Sun”, which is the

representative of God in the Macrocosm, as the Phallus is in the Microcosm.

There is a certain universality and adaptability among its

secret power. The chapter is taken from Rudyard Kipling’s

“Just So Stories.”

The Master urges his disciples to a certain holy stealth, a

concealment of the real purpose of their lives; in this way

making the best of both worlds. This counsels a course of

action hardly distinguishable from hypocrisy; but the

distinction is obvious to any clear thinker, 
though not altogether so the Frater P

4. E finalamente, à meio-noite,que ele saùde o Sol, de frente o norte, dando o sinal de Terra, e diga em voz alta:

Saudações a Ti, que és Khephra na Teu retiro, 

a Ti, que és Khephra na Teu silêncio,

que viajas pelos Céus em Tua Barca no Hora do Meio do Noite.

Tahuti em Seu esplendor, de pé a proa,e Ra-Hoor aguarda no leme.

Saúdações a Ti das Moradas da Anoitecer.

5. Depois de cada uma desses ivocações, tu darás o sinal de silêncio e, em seguida, 

executarás a adoração qui te foi ensinada pelo teu Superior. Então, acalma-te em meditação santa.

6. Também sera melhor se nessas adorações tu assumires a forma-Deus que estiveres adorando, como te unisses a Ele em adoração àquilo que está além d'Ele.

7. Assim, sempre estarás diligente à Grande Obra a qual te responsabilizante por executar e, desse modo, serás fortalecido para que nela perseveres, até a consecução Pedra dos Sábios, o Summum Bonum, a Sabedoria Verdadeira e a Felicidade Perfeita.

2. Also at Noon, let him greet the Sun, facing South, giving the sign of Fire.

And let him say in a loud voice:

Hail unto Thee who art Ahathoor in Thy triumphing, 
even unto Thee who art Ahathoor in Thy beauty,

who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Mid-course of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Morning!

3. Also, at Sunset, let him greet the Sun, facing West, giving the sign of Water.

And let him say in a loud voice:

Hail unto Thee who art Tum in Thy setting,
even unto Thee who art Tum in Thy joy,

who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Down-going of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Day!

4. Lastly, at Midnight, let him greet the Sun, facing North, giving the sign of Earth.

And let him say in a loud voice:

Hail unto thee who art Khephra in Thy hiding, 
even unto Thee who art Khephra in Thy silence,
who travellest over the Heavens in Thy bark at the Midnight Hour of the Sun.
Tahuti standeth in His splendour at the prow, and Ra-Hoor abideth at the helm.
Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Evening.

5. And after each of these invocations thou
shalt give the sign of silence, and afterwards thou
shalt perform the adoration that is taught thee by
thy Superior. And then do thou compose Thyself
to holy meditation.
6. Also it is better if in these adorations thou
assume the God-form of Whom thou adorest, as if
thou didst unite with Him in the adoration of That
which is beyond Him.
7. Thus shalt thou ever be mindful of the Great
Work which thou hast undertaken to perform, and
thus shalt thou be strengthened to pursue it unto
the attainment of the Stone of the Wise, the Summum
Bonum, True Wisdom and Perfect Happiness.
