As Três Avenidas para o Olho no Triângulo

    Como podemos subir a Àrvore da Vida em nossa jornada ao Auto-Conhecimento, exploramos o mundo interior, além de nossos corpos físicos e, ao fazê-lo, examine nossas naturezas Mental e Sentimento que influenciam o nosso mundo interior e o nosso mundo físico exterior. Como podemos examinar a mesmos mais profundamente vemos que somos, na verdade, Um com a Alma de Todas as Coisas. Dentro de nosso mapa arquetípico do universo, a Àrvore da Vida, a esfera da consciência que representa a consciência desta Alma Universal está localizada no centro da árvore e simbolizada pelo corpo celestial do Sol, irradiando luz e dar vida a todo o sistema. Este é o nosso Ser Eterno e nosso Verdadeiro Self.

     Dentro de nossa série simbólica de caminhos em nossa ascensão, os três caminhos levando para cima em direção ao Sol-Alma chegar da nossa natureza Mental, nossa natureza de Sentimento e nossa natureza Vital-Astral. O Diabo (Capricornus), 

o caminho que conduz da Esfera da Mente para a Esfera do Self,

Arte (Sagitario), 

o caminho que conduz a Esfera da Plano Astral para a Esfera do Self,

e Morte (Escorpião), 

o caminho que conduz da Esfera da Sentamento da Esfera do Self.

Isso completa a conexão das três esferas do Mundo Inferior ou Região Formativa com a sua fonte, o Sol-Alma, seu Verdadeiro Self.

     Podemos ver como esses três caminhos podem ser agrupados como só levam à Esfera do Self. Eles podem ser vistos então como uma unidade. O Místico e o Santo, como eles ascenderem a Árvore para o Céu, vão apenas se preocupar com o pilar médio do caminho do Universo, o caminho da Arte e o caminho de Sacerdotisa subindo para cima e para dentro, apenas com a motivação de sua devoção e desejo. Os Cientistas do Ocultismo, por outro lado, quer saber tudo da Árvore e, assim, eles mesmos, tornando-se ciente de todas as estações, caminhos e os estados de consciência dentro de si. Como é o caso, vão saber as esferas de suas mentes e sentimentos e adicionar essas avenidas para sua ascensão. Isso então resultará em uma abordagem tripla para a Alma. Na Ordem Hermética da Aurora Dourada, isto é simbolizado como atingir o grau de desenvolvimento do “Adeptus Minor” e finaliza o currículo da Ordem como o aluno consegue meditação sobre o Sagrado Anjo Guardião da Esfera do Verdadeiro Self.

     Podemos ver que flanqueiam o caminho da Arte, o caminho da alquimia e a combinação dos opostos, temos uma dualidade oposta e, portanto, cortesia do Diabo e a Morte, a Vida e a Morte, Sendo e Transformando, Ser e Fazer. Estes pólos de desenvolvimento são fundidos com o alquímicas atitudes e técnicas da o caminho da Arte ou da Temperança, como foi chamado o Velho Aeon. Por ver essas abordagens e pontos de vista do Sol-Alma como um unificado, estrada três vezes, nós tornamos possível alcançar uma compreensão mais completa do nosso Verdadeiro Self.

The Three Avenues to The Eye in the Triangle

    As we ascend the Tree of Life on our journey to self knowledge we explore the inner worlds beyond our physical bodies and, in doing so, examine our Mental and Feeling natures that influence our inner worlds and our outer physical world. As we examine ourselves more deeply we see that we are, in fact, One with the Soul of All Things. Within our archetypal map of the universe, the Tree of Life, The sphere of consciousness representing the awareness of this Universal Soul is located in the center of the Tree and symbolized by the heavenly body of The Sun, radiating light and bestowing life to all the system. This is our Eternal Being and our True Self.

    Within our symbolic series of paths in our ascent, the three paths leading upward towards the Soul-Sun reach from our Mental nature, our Feeling nature, and our Vital-Astral nature. These three paths, in our esoteric tradition are are symbolized by the three Tarot Cards of -

The Devil (Capricorn),

The path leading from the Sphere of the Mind to The Sphere of the Self,

Art (Sagittarius), 

The path leading from The Sphere of the Astral Plain to the Sphere of the Self,

and Death (Scorpio), 

The path leading from the Sphere of Feeling to the Sphere of The Self.

This completes the connection of the three spheres of the Lower World or Formative Region with its source, the Soul-Sun, your True Self.

    We can see how these three paths can be grouped together as only they lead to the Sphere of the Self. They can be viewed then as a unit. The Mystic and the Saint, as they ascend the Tree to the Heavens, will only concern themselves with the middle pillar of the Universe path, the Art path, and the Priestess path rising upward and inward only with the motivation of their devotion and desire. The Occult Scientists, on the other hand, wants to know all of the Tree and thus themselves, becoming aware of all the stations, paths, and states of awareness within themselves. As this is the case, they will know the spheres of their Minds and Feelings and add these avenues to their ascent. This will then result in a three-fold approach to the Soul. In the Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn, this is symbolized as attaining the degree of development of the Adeptus Minor and finalizes the curriculum of the Order as the student achieves meditation on The Holy Guardian Angel of The Sphere of The True Self.

    We can see that flanking the path of Art, the path of alchemy and the combining of the opposites, we have an opposing and thus complimentary duality of the Devil and Death, Life and Death, Being and Transforming, Being and Doing. These poles of development are fused with the alchemical attitudes and techniques of the the path of Art or Temperance, as it was called in the Old Aeon. By seeing these approaches and viewpoints of the Soul-Sun as a unified, three-fold road, we make it possible to attain a fuller understanding of our True Self.
